On the 9th of September 2016, Catholic Mission School (CMS) successfully held their annual Teachers’ Day ceremony to promote the spirit of respect for teachers for their special contribution to the school community. Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee, a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong (LegCo), was invited to attend. And her presence lit up the atmosphere as well as gave a boost to the morale of the teachers.
With the support from the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong Catholic Education Office in July 2016, we are arranged to partner with Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No. 2 (YCK2) which is a Secondary School run by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The goal of the CMS School-based Internationalized Curriculum which is to nurture global talents will be further pursued in the College so that our graduates will be given another quality option to continue to be nurtured as global talents in their secondary education.
The School-based Internationalized Curriculum (I.C.) is based on the structure of the Hong Kong Primary Curriculum that is set by the EDB Curriculum Development Institute.
The Parent- Teacher Association arranged several interesting activities for students from 5th to 8th July, 2016. The activities included Yoga lessons, Self-Defence lessons, Child Psychology-Self & Social Growth, Kim’s Games, Nutrition & Wellness and Table Manner.
