A Visit from Singapore Sembawang Primary School

On 12th March, 2019, 5 teachers with 27 students from Singapore Sembawang Primary School came to visit Catholic Mission School(CMS). Both Sembawang’s school students and our CMS students enjoyed all the interactive activities. Firstly, we had the ice-breaking game before we had a short walk to show them around in our neighbourhood. They collaborated to finish the kahoot game and edited their own photos.

Japan Fukuoka Educational Tour 2017

To provide another exposure for learning, the school co-organized a 4-day-3-night educational tour to Japan with CMS Parent-Teacher Association. Through this tour, students not only acquire more knowledge but also broaden their horizon.

We aim at providing opportunities for students to know more about the tradition culture, history and the innovative technology of Japan. Students could also experience the local people’s living habits.
During the 4-day tour, we visited some cultural spots. In addition, the school connected a Japanese catholic primary school (Meiji-Gakuen Elementary School) for collaboration. Teacher, parent and student participants had a great exchange. Student participants even joined in their lessons and activities with their Japanese buddies and established friendship there.

In order to foster better cooperation, both schools signed the school alliance agreement. The ceremony was a grand occasion. The process of the school visit and the ceremony were uploaded onto the Korean TV media. Hoping that the local people will have a better understanding of the schools from Hong Kong. It is believed that the friendship would be deeply rooted among all the students themselves.
